Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship service. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
Being unsure of how to dress or even when to stand up and sit down can be a weirdly paralyzing thought for first time visitors! At Southside, you can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling life applicable preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. Wear what you are comfortable in, be it dressy or casual. Our hope is that you will be encouraged and maybe even challenged through our worship and message.
The mission of the Restoration Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must orient around the glory of God and seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation.
The mission of the Church is highlighted in 2 Corinthians 5. As those who have been reconciled to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are now ambassadors of reconciliation to a lost and broken world. We plead, urge, implore, reason, pray, serve, preach, teach and gather to see God glorified through reconciliation.
At Southside, this mission is best displayed in our communities, where we daily have the chance of living out the Gospel to those around us.
